What can I say about Curves that I haven't said before? I LOVE IT! I joined when they opened up the street from my house about 5 years ago. When I checked into it I was feeling kind of depressed about how I looked and felt. I wanted an exercise regiment that I would stick to and also meet other women in my community. That was the beginning of feeling good and positive. My husband thinks it is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I go about three days a week, sometimes four, and enjoy every minute of it. I have joined the new SMART program and I like it even more. It makes me work harder and I feel better after I finish. The women I have met are all very friendly. About five of us get together and go to lunch once in awhile. It is fun and we laugh so much. I believe when you like something you talk about it a lot and that I do! I wish more women would get as much out of exercising as us women at Curves!

Miami Heights Curves

613 visits to Curves and I'm still going strong! I joined the Miami Heights Curves basically to help keep my aging body strong. I was never overweight but I saw pounds creeping up as the years progressed. I have been an avid walker since I was 40, and walk approximately 2 1/2 miles 5 times a week, but felt that I needed to do more. After a couple of yeas at Curves, I felt like I had reached a plateau, and that nothing was changing. There were no more inches being lost or pounds melting away. I decided to give the new Smart system a try. I set my goals high and find that I am getting the best workout ever. I am competitive by nature and determined to beat myself with each workout session. I leave exhausted, but happy that I'm doing all that I can to say fit and trim at 60.

Effectiveness of liv-aid

A member came into a neighboring Curves and told the owner she had found a lump with the liv-aid. She went to her DR. and he could not find it. She pulled out her liv-aid and then he was able to find it. Because of her family history they are going to remove it and he told her to be sure to bring that thing with her as he can't find it without it. Remember to practice good breast health care.
